Queer Advice to Christian Philosophers

Philosophy of religion is dominated by Christianity and Christians. This, in conjunction with the historically anti-LGBTQIA bent Christian thinking, has resulted exclusion less dominant often marginalized perspectives, including queer ones. This essay charts a normative direction for philosophers philosophy religion, subfield they dominate. First, given some unique ways have unjustly harmed queers, as group responsibility to communities their oppressed prioritize interests oppressed. Second, must voices creating or furthering academic space (e.g., at conferences, journals books, posts) those who publicly professionally identify queer. Third, mitigate criticisms queers queerness where such would undermine efforts toward compensatory/reparative justice.
